New space is great! Takes a great concept converts into more of a proper bar-restaurant. Needed addition to the neighborhood. Even in July peak daytime heat, the covered patio with fans felt comfortable.

Extraordinary is the one word‼ eclectic menu delicious food everything we ordered was on target. We all ordered something different and each was as good as the other. The conch fritters as appetizers yummm, oxtail entry amazing , the burgers sooo good and all the side dishes we ordered were delish. Ryan was outstanding as our server‼

Best brunch that I've had in Miami! HIGHLY recommend for a hearty breakfast/lunch/brunch on the weekends. Come hungry. We came on a Sunday afternoon and were lucky to snag a table for two outside without a reservation. The service was quick and the restaurant was very busy. I ordered the pork and beans which came with two sunny side up eggs and I had the side salad. It was amazing, it was almost like a jambalaya with spiced sausage and a semi sweet semi spicy flavor. The ambiance is like a classic dinner but a little more modernized. The food is for sure the star of the show.

I love Blue Collar. Looking forward to visit new location! There is something for everyone here and all is made top notch.

Blue Collar is a small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation before showing up. The food was amazing; it had a kind of 'hole in the wall' vibe. Every dish was very good, but I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with pork. Keep in mind that there was only one server for the entire restaurant, but have no complaints about the service.

After seeing this restaurant featured in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on Food Network, I've been wanting to try. Had the opportunity to when my friend suggested. Unpretentious diner-like vibe with very friendly and attentive servers. Started with Cuban Sandwich Spring Rolls which were a little small but manchego cheese was a nice change up. Jalapeño cornbread with brown butter was very delicious! They finish it on the flat top or a technique like that to give it a crispy texture on the surface -- so good. We shared the Big Ragout - a hearty portion of pasta with multiple meats in a sweet tomato sauce. Very delicious as well. Other items coming out of the kitchen smelled and looked great. Happy customers abound.

Every time I go, I find new things that I like about them. You can pick indoor or outdoor sitting. We picked outdoor since it was a perfect afternoon for it. The brunch was amazing. You have to come hungry since they give enough food to have leftovers. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place to be at. The service is just right to give a lazy brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Come sit on Biscayne Blvd. and enjoy the food!

Blue Collar is a tiny place that packs big ambience and bigger flavor. No matter what you order, you know you are getting a delicious meal that is prepared with care and expertise. I was so glad to finally make my way down to Blue Collar after hearing many great things, and we were not disappointed. They often have deals, so follow them on Instagram for the news. Recently participating in Miami Spice, and also recently hosting buy one get one entrees on Thursday night. This is not only some of the best food you can get, it is also some of the best bargains in South Florida. On this trip, we tried griot that comes with a choice of two sides. The pikliz is fresh and packs a punch, but the real star beyond the meaty pork chunks is the gravy, the gravy, the gravy!! Wow! I got this with plantains and artichokes with lemon aioli. The artichokes were outstanding. The plantains came with rock salt sprinkled all over them which ruined them for me. I will ask for no salt next time. The shrimp po boy was served with large fresh and perfectly fried shrimp. This was served with a spicy tartar. Great sandwich and ordered with some of the best fresh cut fries I've had in awhile. Any chicken sandwich is as basic as you can get, but even this is special at Blue Collar. The balsamic onion jam is tangy and delicious, and the Portuguese muffin is soft and perfect. These choices were finished with two delicious desserts. An incredibly moist fudgy chocolate cake and a butterscotch and heath bar bread pudding served with cayenne whip cream. Everything was delicious and we were absolutely stuffed. But when the waiter brought a lentil soup to our neighbor, it looked so good I couldn't help but order one to go. I am so glad I did. This soup was amazing with bits of beef brisket in the savory broth. If you haven't been to Blue Collar, put them at the top of your must go list.

From: Season 19, Episode 8 Cross Country Comfort Food "Guy heads to the "blue collar" to indulge in The Big Ragout Sandwich, a hearty meal featuring five kinds of meats smothered in cheese and served on a roll. Russ enjoyed his on pasta! The owner was a law student who switched out his suit for a chef coat is killing it with all kinds of comfort food like spicy oxtail and more!!" I had fried chicken (a bit too fried) but the mashed and peas - deliciousness! Server was lovely & welcoming. Answered all our questions! A tiny footprint! Bathroom a bit of a maze ... but it was clean.

After seeing so many recommendations for Blue Collar, we decided to finally pay a visit during Miami Spice. Located in Midtown, the actual restaurant is a very tiny spot next to a motel. On the day of our visit, we were the first customers. The service was great- we had a very friendly server who gave us some good recommendations. The actual place needed a bit of a cleanup- the tables needed a wipe down and overall, it looked a bit disheveled despite just opening. Food was good- we tried the Jalapeño corn bread (great), the Fried Gouda (a bit lacking in taste), the Ragout (excellent) and the Spicy Oxtail ( fantastic). Desserts were better than they looked -Key Lime Pie and Bread Pudding. All in all , the food was worth the travel there but the regular prices would seem a bit steep.
